Handmade Venison Biltong Snack and Grab Bags

Our snack packs are perfect for lunchboxes, your gym bag or work bag. Make sure you have a couple tucked away for those interminable commuter journeys.

Our grab bags are a more substantial serving, great for sharing or for longer journeys. Take them with you when you go mountain biking, climbing or on a long walk - protein is a great boost when doing endurance exercise.

Venison Biltong

Venison Biltong is naturally low in fat, high in protein and delicious. It has a denser texture than beef biltong and a subtle meaty flavour that derives from the wild grasses, leaves and herbs that make the Chiltern Hills so green.

Venison is the greatest wild meat our countryside has to offer. We have six species of deer in the UK. Red, Sika, Fallow, Roe, Chinese Water Deer and Muntjac. The majority of our venison comes from the ethically managed herds of Fallow deer that roam the Chilterns

What's in our Venison Biltong?

Carefully selected cuts of Chiltern venison. Our venison is all locally and ethically sourced from the beautiful Chiltern Hills. Our butcher carefully prepares the meat before rubbing it in spices and herbs brought from his hometown in South Africa.

When we make Venison Biltong, it is dehydrated for five to six days. We use 200g of Venison for every 100g of biltong product. Concentrated meaty goodness!
