You might like it wet or dry, cut or uncut - if you buy more than a kilo, you can have it your way. If we don't have it in stock we will make it to order, just as you like it.
For regular Biltong eaters, there is no better way than to buy biltong just how you like it - a bit of fat, moist in the middle, or fully cured and thinly sliced.

We slice our Biltong into thin slices so that it is ready to eat without further cutting.
Flavour - Original / Chilli / Garlic
Our original flavour is a South African spice mix that has a subtle pepperiness and depth.
Our Chilli flavour has chilli flakes added to give a bit more spice.
Our Garlic flavour has a wonderful umami depth and complexity.
Moisture level of the cure - Wet, Medium, Dry
Some like it wet in the middle, still moist and soft, others like a mid cure where the redness has gone but a little softness remains, others like it dry as a bone and dark as night. Choose your favourite.
With Fat or Without Fat - this is edge fat, like on a steak.
All Biltong has some marbling of fat, but if you like a rind of fat on your Biltong, choose this one. It won't be on every piece as it is only the edges that carry the fat, but we will pick out the best pieces for you with that juicy beef fat that carries so much flavour. Or leave it off and we will pick pieces with no rind fat.

Made to Order
Buying larger pieces is better value and of course, more satisfying! We package your order when we receive it rather than pre-packing and if we make it to order, you will get it fresh from our dryer in a week to 10 days.
Remember, biltong is great for sharing. Take a piece with you when you go mountain biking, climbing or on a long walk - protein is a great boost when doing endurance exercise.
Beef Biltong is high in protein and delicious. We trim off excess fat and the marbling of natural fat through the meat gives beef biltong its succulence. It is a softer texture than venison biltong and has that great beef flavour.
Our beef comes from our carefully selected butchers in the Chilterns, much of it from local beef herds and is hand-cut into fillets that are chosen for shape, grain and texture.
What's in our Beef Biltong?
Carefully selected cuts of prime beef, sourced from local butchers and farms. Our butcher carefully prepares the meat before rubbing it in spices and herbs brought from his hometown in South Africa.
When we make Beef Biltong, it is dehydrated for five to six days. We use 200g of Beef for every 100g of biltong product. Concentrated meaty goodness!
Ingredients - depending on flavour.
Prime Beef, Chilli Flakes / garlic granules, Flavouring.
Flavouring: celery, maize flour, maize meal, colourants, flavour enhancer (MSG, E621), hydrogenated vegetable fat (palm fruit), anticaking agent, acidity regulator, spice extract (antioxidant TBHQ)], salt, spices, sugar. Preservative potassium sorbate.
Prepared in an area where foods containing Milk, Egg, Soy and Wheat Gluten may have been used.
